Doctor information

Information shown about doctors is sourced from publicly-available records:

• Government licensure / exequátur data published by the Ministerio de Salud Pública (open data).
• Public clinic and hospital staff-directory pages (e.g. HOMS, Hospiten) where doctors are listed publicly by the facility.
• Public professional-society or specialty-society directories.

We do not collect or display non-public information about doctors. We do not buy, sell, or trade doctor data.

Visitor information

When you use the site we may log standard request data (IP-derived region, user-agent, page visited) for security and basic usage monitoring. We do not require an account to search or view profiles.

We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers or paid analytics.

Verification requests

When you submit a verification request through /request-verification we store the doctor name, optional contact details you provide, and the reason for the request, only so our reviewers can follow up. This information is not shown publicly.

Doctor corrections and removal requests

Providers and clinics can request a correction or removal via /contact. We will respond within a reasonable beta-period window and either update the record, cite the supporting source, or remove the entry. We may keep an internal audit note of the change so other reviewers don't re-add the same data.

Data location and retention

Production data is stored on managed infrastructure (currently Supabase / Vercel). Source-check records are kept indefinitely so we can show provenance for any claim we make about a doctor; they are removed when the underlying public source is no longer available or when a removal request is granted.
